SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS
Telephone Interconnect Service
School districts, who are already connected to the NERIC WAN, have the option of having their IPT devices hosted on NERIC’s CallManager server. This will allow for increased communication between districts at a significantly reduced cost via on-network dialing. NERIC, as the billing agent, will forward monthly usage bills for payment. 50% of local carrier charges are eligible for BOCES aid.
Pricing - $250 per phone + phone bill
IPT WAN Subscription
Participating districts will have the opportunity to connect their phone network to our phone network. This will allow for increased communication between districts at a significantly reduced cost via on-network dialing. In addition, the participating districts will be afforded the opportunity to take advantage of least cost routing. Because NERIC is uniquely positioned with offices in Albany, Saratoga, Schoharie and Plattsburgh, calls made to those areas would be charged as a local call, saving the district long distance charges.
Pricing - $2500 + phone bill
Cisco CallManager Support
NERIC will provide support to the District's Telephone System Administrators at participating districts. This support will include assistance in troubleshooting efforts and training sessions.

Cisco Unity Support
NERIC will provide support to District's Voicemail System Administrators at participating districts. This support will include assistance in troubleshooting efforts and training sessions.

Cisco IPT Network Support
NERIC will provide technical support for your IPT network. This support will include remote management of all changes, additions, or moves to your CallManager database and to your Unity Voicemail software. In addition, NERIC will provide technical support for your IPT Network Hardware.
Pricing - $100 per device annually
User Group Meeting
NERIC will coordinate periodic meetings for Telephone System Administrators. The purpose of these meetings will be to share experiences and advice. When available, vendors and/or experts would be invited to share the latest advances in the field.

System Fail Over Capability
In the event of a network or equipment failure, a participating district with a compatible design would be able to fail over to NERIC's network. This fail over feature would ensure the continuation of service while the necessary repairs were made.
