Technical Support - Administrative Shared Area Network Support (LAN) - IBM
This service provides many levels of support to participating schools. Districts receive telephone support from NERICs help desk. On-site assistance is provided from more than 10 trained system engineers on staff. Remote support is available via WAN connectivity where NERIC technicians are able to diagnose and correct most problems across the wire. Hardware maintenance is available from select vendor affiliates.
The cost of the service includes initial installation of all network hardware and software, ongoing support of the network including troubleshooting and installation of all software upgrades, training or retraining on the operation of the network, user meetings, and hot line technical support. Network provided service implies the ability to support the LAN via the NERIC wide area network.
